UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
The Eight Bells is a welcoming country pub in the historic downland village of Jevington.
The Eight Bells is over 300 years old, and was recently purchased by a Jevington family. It sits at the heart of the village high above Eastbourne in the South Downs National Park, on the South Downs Way and near to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters Country Park. We serve local ales and seasonal food and offer a large and well presented garden, which includes a terrace for dining, with lovely views of the South Downs.
Our Christmas Menu (click on the menu image) can be picked up from the pub now (YOU MUST PRE BOOK TO HAVE THE XMAS MENU), and we are taking bookings for a limited number of diners for an exclusive event on Christmas Day for £45 a head, from 2.30pm. For the rest of December two courses off the Christmas Menu below will cost £17.95 or have three courses for £21.95, both served with coffee and mince pies to finish.
Tuesday night is Quiz Night at The Eight Bells. Starting promptly at 8.30pm. There are wine prizes for the top three finishers. Three bottles 1st place, two bottles 2nd place & one bottle 3rd. There is also a draw at the end of the quiz for all teams that enter to win two lines (lucky dip) on the new £2 Wednesday lotto. Finishing in the final three places gives your team a chance of winning the runners up prize, with a draw for a box of chocolates.
Remember next week is the draw for ‘Secret Santa’
